  Tonight I ordered through Deliveroo. The food has been good here before so this has been my go to Indian place. But tonight they didn't deliver rice with my curry. When you order via deliveroo it says 'with small rice' when you place your order. I phoned Singhs one minute after drop off to advise the rice wasn't delivered. At first I was offered complimentary rice next time but when I asked how to ensure there was a record of this and what to do about my current situation of a meal with no rice was told nothing could be done so asked to speak to the manager. The manager advised me that the company hadn't offered free rice with curry online for the past year which is simply untrue as I've only discovered singhs over the past few months and my deliveroo order was a reorder of what I ordered in the past which came with rice and clearly states rice. I advised the manager that he was lyeing and I had screen shots of the order and he said he would organise delivery of the rice plus compliments. I feel really dissapointed as wanted to continue supporting and recommending this local business but am unable to based on the fact that their manager lies to customers and lacks business acumen and integrity. No customer should be made to feel they are wrong about their order when they have a clear record of what they purchased nor have to resort to shouting on the phone to make it clear they do not accept a response indicating they didn't purchase what they clearly have a record of purchasing. Terrible customer experience. They did end up delivering rice and complimentary poppoduns and pakoras as well as an explanation that the mix up was caused by a new staff member. Regardless of if there was new staff this doesn't explain the managers lies

  I have been going here for the last 7 years I have been in Melbourne, great value, nanns as big as your head and authentic taste. Couldn't recommend enough.

  Service is friendly, prices are fair and they serve my favourite naan bread in Melbourne. Chicken korma and butter chicken were ok, but the chicken vindaloo was the best: very authentic and it didn't lack in flavour.

  Foods are not good. Didn't taste and felt like Indian food. Samosas are even funny, tastes bad, contained frozen vegetables may be from coles.

  Tasty, cheap Indian fare. Free rice with your curries which is great.
